With the 20th anniversary of the most important and replicated skate shoe in history,
the Half Cab, just around the corner it only makes sense that Stevie Caballero would sit down
for TransWorld's 30th Anniversary Issue and discuss the shoe's place in skate history.
Mark your calendars now because coming in 2012 you're invited to join Vans for a year-long celebration heralding the 20th anniversary of the greatest skate shoe of all time, the Vans Half Cab. To mark this milestone in footwear history, Vans will be dropping one new and exclusive limited edition 20th Anniversary Half Cab colorway each month throughout the year. Beginning this spring, Vans takes us back to where it all started with a super limited (20 pairs worldwide!) version of the OG hand-cut and duct-taped Vans Caballero high top (pictured below) that inspired the Half Cab, to be followed monthly by classic re-releases of four of the most iconic colorways from the very first era of classic Vans Half Cabs.
