Max Fish is located on New York's Lower East Side and has become home to the East Coast's creative community. Owner Ulli Rimkus opened the art gallery-turned-bar in 1989 and doesn't believe in hiring bartenders, she prefers galssblowers, silk-screeners, rappers and skateboarders. January 31st was supposed to be the location's final day of operation but to the delight of Ludlow Street patrons, Fish's lease was extended for an additional year.
