Saturday, March 31th PHX AM 2012 Update
Saturday morning started off with a big boost of moral as we all put our hands in the center and did a cheer for our team. Taylor Smith took his heat by storm and busted a kickflip lip down the hubba in the faces of his competitors. This allowed him to qualify 20th and advance to the finals. Curren Caples was flying high again today with a flawless run that qualified him in 4th for the finals today. All the results and today's heats can be seen at PHXAM.com.
John Cardiel flew in fresh from San Jose and was amped to check out the competition. His good vibrations were felt throughout Phoenix and carried on into the night at the after party where he transformed into DJ Juan Love. Kids from all over town came to check out the all ages performances from The Goat, Radio Moscow, The Growlers and NO AGE. The youngsters were so fired up they pushed the guard rails to the stage over and broke a pop up tent all in the name of teen angst.
