On January 20th, 2012 the Vans Skatepark in Orlando, FL celebrates ten years
with a special event at the park and a donation of two brand new obstacles to
Orlando’s public skatepark. Click through for all the details.
Join Vans This Friday, January 20 at the Vans Skatepark in Orlando for a
special skate event celebrating 10 great years in Orlando, FL.
The festivities include a free skate-only session on January 20 from 6pm-10pm
along with Steve Van Doren’s famous BBQ, special giveaways and prizes,
a best trick contest and autograph signing by Vans pro skaters
Tony Trujillo, Omar Hassan and Daniel Lutheran.
Vans has also partnered with the City of Orlando’s Families, Parks & Recreation
and Team Pain to create two concrete park obstacles that will be donated to the public
Orlando Skatepark (OSP) in downtown Orlando, as a thank you to the community for the
last decade of support. The two obstacles, scheduled to be finished in January,
will stand in memory of Vans. OSP is located at 400 Festival Way Orlando, FL 32803.
The Orlando Vans Skatepark is located at 5220 International Drive Orlando, FL 32819
and will close its doors on January 21, 2012.
