Half Cab 20th Anniversary Party Photo Recap

2012 marks the 20th anniversary of the Vans Half Cab, the world's longest running, continuously produced signature skate shoe. To commemorate this milestone, professional skateboarder Steve Caballero hand-selected over 20 of his favorite artists to "customize" one pair each of natural canvas Half Cab 20th Anniversary edition shoes. The final painted works were on display at the House of Vans in Brooklyn, New York last night, October 4, 2012, along with Lance Dawes' curated photography exhibit, TWENTY, spanning twenty years from some of the world's greatest skateboard photographers featuring some of the world’s greatest skateboarders wearing the world's greatest skateboard shoe. (All the shoes and photos are currently up for auction on ASKATE's eBay page with only a few days left.)
Along with the stellar exhibit, Steve Van Doren was manning the grill in the back yard, beers were flowing and a good ole time was had by all as they got down to musical guests

The party also kicked off Vans BOWL-A-RAMA™NYC Weekend, with a Love & Guys show tonight at Max Fish and the BOWL-A-RAMA™ contest tomorrow at Chelsea Piers starting at 10am.
