Clash of the Crew Results and Video

In celebrating the Skatepark of Tampa's 20th Anniversary Vans teamed up with SPOT to usher in a new tradition last weekend with the first annual Clash of the Crews. 20 shops from all over the east coast came to Tampa the last weekend of January to compete for a bunch of prizes and the bragging rights of who's the best shop crew in the Southeast. The festivities kicked off Friday night with a BBQ to welcome all the teams to town. The contest and after party followed on Saturday with one of the key highlights being SPOT's own Brian Schaefer shredding the part with his SPOT team. In the end Graffiti Skate Zone from Palm Bay, FL took first with the Skatepark of Tampa taking 2nd and Westside went home with 3rd.
Truth be told it Clash of the Crews was all mellow vibes and high fives. You could have gotten first or DFL, it didn't matter. Everyone was there for a good time and it was great to get all the retaiers together and support the scene in the greater southestern region. We're already looking forward to next years!
