Thousands of people crowded beachfront grandstands to watch the world’s best skateboarders compete in the eighth annual Vans BOWL-A-RAMA™ Bondi 2012.

The 8th Annual Bondi Bowl-A-Rama was a huge success once again with Pedro Barros and Steve Caballero taking top honors.
Transworld's Staff Photographer, Mike O'Meally, was on hand and shot a bunch of Bondi photos for TWS' website.

Alex Perelson Eats a Vert Ramp Alive in Oz

I imagine inviting Alex Perelson to your vert ramp is a lot like inviting
Japanese competitive-eater Takeru Kobayashi to your backyard BBQ.
On one hand you're in total awe and want to see just how many hot dogs he can eat
but on the other hand, you're not sure if you're ever going to want to BBQ again
after he shuts it down so hard.
It's gotta be rad to see Alex skate first hand but ...

Watch Chima Ferguson Win Oz Contest

Skateboarding Australia found the island from that show LOST and
they held a three day contest there. Chima Ferguson easily won it. He's that good.
I bet skating for 3-days non-stop, 72 hours straight would probably be less painful
then waiting for the crappy ending to that crappy show.
