Vans Team Demo At Metallica's Orion Fest This Weekend in Detroit

Vans Pro Skate has partnered with Metallica to present the Vans Damage Inc. Stage and Vans Vert Ramp at Metallica's Orion Music + More festival, June 8 - 9 on Belle Isle in Detroit, Mi. Vans has been invited back for a second year to partner with Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo to build out the Vans Damage Inc. Stage and a 13-foot tall x 30-foot wide Vans Vert Ramp.

Caballero Talks Love & Guts

Legendary skaters Pat Ngoho, Steve Olson, and Lance Mountain started an art show series called Love and Guts in 2005. The Love and Guts art show symbolizes the parallel between skateboarding and art. This year, during the Vans Pool Party, iconic skateboarders and artists, like our own Steve Caballero, got together to have a Love and Guts art show at the Vans skate park in Orange.

Christian Hosoi Inducted into Skateboarding Hall of Fame on TWS

On May 9 the Skateboarding Hall of Fame held its fourth annual induction ceremony in Anaheim, California. Our own Christian Hosoi was honored by the IASC voting committee and inducted in the Hall of Fame with Rodney Mullen, Alan Gelfand and many more. Transworld Skateboarding was there to cover the ceremony.

Vans Skatepark, Orange, CA (May 11, 2013) – Bucky Lasek makes a defiant comeback as the winner of the 2013 Vans Pool Party unseating defending champion Pedro Barros for his third Pro title since 2010.
