CHIMA FERGUSON INTERVIEW...
What shoe do you skate?
The Era Pro.
What’s your set up?
8.1 Real board, 147 Thunders and 51mm Spitfires.
What’s the best trip you’ve ever been on?
Just Chill tour, 2005. All my friends from Australia were on it and it was just the funnest goods ever!
What is the best story you’ve ever heard or been told?
David Gravette told us all his injury stories at dinner last night and it was pretty hilarious.
Favorite Vans rider?
Geoff Rowley. He’s legit.
What trick can’t you do that you wish you could?
No complies.
What’s the worst thing that’s ever happened to you?
I fell on my face and split it open once.
Worst trend in skateboarding right now?
Everything.
What are some interests/hobbies outside of skating?
My bicycle, drinking with homies and Xbox 360.
Last good book you read?
I haven’t read a book in years, but I’ve seen some around that I’d like to read.
Five songs that have to be on a mix tape?
Bowie, Morrissey, Weezy, T. Rex and Pulp.
What’s your best Dustin Dollin story?
He put a knife to my friend’s throat once 'cause he didn’t wanna give him something. It was the goods!
Best thing about Australia?
All my friends are here, get to drink lots and it’s just the best place ever.
Do your toilets really spin the other way when you flush them?
Indeed they do.
What does the name Chima mean?
Not telling.
Any plans of moving to the States for a while?
Maybe do six months this year. Depends.
How did you get hooked up with Real skateboards?
I sent them a video years ago.
Has Jim Thiebaud ever told you about his magnificent ponytail he used to have? Would you ever run a ponytail?
Never heard about it. My hair's all nappy so I can't really do much with it.
What’s with your man-crush on Clint Eastwood? What’s your favorite Clint movie?
Magnum Force and Dirty Harry are legit. Actually, they all are, but those are my favorites. He’s got the best phrases ever!

Skateboarding Australia found the island from that show LOST and
they held a three day contest there. Chima Ferguson easily won it. He's that good.
I bet skating for 3-days non-stop, 72 hours straight would probably be less painful
then waiting for the crappy ending to that crappy show.

Lutheran-Land and the greater Southwest area of America.
Antics ensued. Our man in the van, Grant Hatfield, tagged along to

AVE, ball in hand.
Dodgeball?
Nay! Football! Ave spelled backwards is Pele?
Dill's whip? Someone has a warm spot for canary yellow.
Dill...urine-soaked thoughts?
Hunt hunts for moments.
